Riversong Cabin Rentals in Elkin, NC

Coming from Ohio, we began searching for property to develop into our dream of a family owned business for cabin rentals in North Carolina. We, admittedly, visited Mt. Airy, NC because of Andy Griffith and Mayberry. On this visit, we discovered the small town of Elkin, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We then realized that our dream of North Carolina cabin rentals would become a reality by offering cabin rentals in Elkin. The Yadkin Valley area drew us in, especially a secluded piece of wooded land that lies between The Mitchell River and Snow Creek. We fell in love at first sight and immediately decided to build rental cabins and a house to live in on the property.

The task at hand was a big one, since Riversong was only 50 acres of dense woods, an old dirt road, and an abandoned house (where a family of vultures were living). We have cleared out several acres for cabin sites, cut miles of walking trails with a machete, and tore down the old house (after the baby vultures flew away, of course).

Phase two will include treehouses and a lodge for rent in 2025. There are multiple vineyards and wineries in the immediate area. Elkin, NC is a trail town with three major hiking trails convening.

At Riversong, you will find walking and nature bathing trails that lead to the Mitchell River, fire pits, and even a swimmin’ hole in Snow Creek. We invite you to come and relax among nature at Riversong in one of our four newly built Blue Ridge Mountain cabins.
